Dave Anderson -COO

Dave Anderson is a strategy and operations executive with over 25 years of experience leading growth and operational excellence initiatives for global companies. Dave grew up sailing, racing, and coaching on the St. Lawrence River in Eastern Ontario and is currently the volunteer Director of Sailing at Stony Lake Yacht Club. As Team Canada’s Chief Operating Officer, Dave oversees all aspects of business operations and works closely with the team’s Board of Directors and Youth and Women athletes as we prepare to take on the world in the 37th America’s Cup in Barcelona in 2024.

Isabella Bertold -Women’s Team Lead

Isabella Bertold leads Canada’s entry at the 2024 Puig Women’s America’s Cup. Isabella earned a spot on the Canadian Sailing Team at 13 and went on to win multiple world cup medals. By 22, she achieved a career-high world ranking of 2nd. In 2019, Isabella retired from Olympic sailing and took up road cycling at a professional level, racing on the UCI Women’s Pro team InstaFund Racing. As professional sailing evolved into faster and more exciting formats, she was drawn back to the water and joined Canada’s SailGP Team as a strategist and co-pilot in 2022.

Andrew Wood -Youth Team Lead

Andrew Wood, the Youth Team Lead for the 2024 Team Canada Youth America’s Cup. As a youth sailor, Andrew raced in the highly competitive 29er class alongside his brother Ryan, competing in multiple World Championships and representing Canada at two World Sailing Youth World Championships. In 2016, Andrew transitioned to the Olympic 49er class and soon after earned a spot on Canada’s national team. Currently, he focuses on training and competing in the moth class. Andrew's extensive international experience makes him an invaluable guide and mentor for young Canadian sailors preparing for the forthcoming Youth America’s Cup.
